WHO ARE WE?

David Jacobs is the Managing Director of Aldenham Consulting. He is a qualified lawyer and a highly-experienced developer of training programmes.

His expertise in creating training programmes dates back to 1987 when he created, developed and marketed the first in a series of food and nutrition conferences. Since then he has produced in excess of 1750 events (attended by over 50,000 people) and training products, including conferences, seminars, courses, webinars and videos. He has a strong eye for the marketing of events, having attended courses at Cranfield School of Management and at one time was mentored by the European marketing director of Ford.

He has also been involved in the production of training videos for Management Today, the Financial Times and the Observer Newspaper and has extensive experience in publishing, primarily on the editorial side.

Highly computer literate, he firmly believes in embracing technology to advance the effectiveness of training.

Within Aldenham Consulting he has overall responsibility for IT training and, as well as having designed training programmes covering many IT issues including: data protection, cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, social media, blockchain, and autonomous vehicles, he manages a specialist team of consultants who deliver a range of Microsoft training courses

Michael Burgess, LL.B Mike is Aldenham Consulting’s Head of Sales & Motivational Training. He has for over 20 years trained 1000s of multi-lingual sales and marketing professionals to exceed sales targets, show clients how to be more profitable and use insight to help them see round corners. In countries such as the UK, Hong Kong, China, Australia, the UAE, Qatar and USA and for such firms as Canon, Apple, Toshiba, Euromoney, Institutional Investor, Thomson Financial, LEP International, MBf Finance, US Bancorp and Elavon Inc.

By blending and adapting the best known training programmes with the latest technology tools and techniques, Mike helps fresh starters, experienced professionals and senior C-Suite negotiators to proactively open doors, generate interest and desire, push through constant rejection and close record breaking deals, whilst developing their own personal goals and motivational well being. Nick Jerome is a highly experienced facilitator, trainer and coach who has worked with a wide range of organisations across many sectors. Sample recent clients include: Unicredit, Société Générale, NHS, University of London, Edhec Business School, Cisco, Leicestershire Police, Wilmington plc. He specialises in leadership and management development, coaching, presentation skills training, soft skills. He works with everyone from trainees to staff groups and leadership teams. He has an MBA and is an accredited coach. He also speaks fluent French. As a coach, he specialises in Leadership, Communications, Careers and Relationships at work.

Rob Hoblin MBA MA FCMI. Rob has maintained a strong training background throughout his career of over 30 years and has delivered and facilitated training at a national level throughout the UK and internationally over many years. This included the introduction of an objectively structured performance related national exam where he designed both the written and the live performance aspects for a public sector agency, which are now integral to a national framework of assessment. He is an ORCE qualified assessor, TAP certified training deliverer as well as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor in Leadership

Jude Allen is a highly experienced and award winning videographer with a background in Film and TV Documentary, conferences, corporate videos and on- demand video content for education training, networks and events. Her clients have included: EMI, Channel 4, BBC, A & E, YPO, London Business School, and NOW.com. Her work is highly regarded by previous clients.
